Instructions
Prepare the chicken by cutting breasts in half if using large pieces. Season with salt and pepper.
In a shallow bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper. Coat the chicken evenly.
Heat butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes on each side. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Deglaze the pan with lemon juice and chicken stock, scraping the bottom to release browned bits.
Stir in thyme and Parmesan cheese. Adjust seasoning as needed.
Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer in the sauce for 15-20 minutes, ensuring it is cooked through.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm with your choice of sides.

Use fresh lemons for the best flavor.
You can add heavy cream for a creamy variation of the sauce.
This dish pairs wonderfully with steamed vegetables, mashed potatoes, or quinoa.
