Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts
  • ½ cup Honey (use clover or wildflower honey for best flavor)
  • 5 tbsp Butter (unsalted)
  • 2 tbsp Olive oil (for frying)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • ¼ cup Milk (for marinating)
  • 1 tbsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Low-sodium soy sauce

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F.
  • In a bowl, mix salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  • Coat the chicken breasts in the seasoning mixture.
  • Pour milk over the chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.
  • Bake the chicken on a parchment-lined tray for 30 minutes or until fully cooked.
  • Meanwhile, prepare the honey butter sauce by combining butter, honey, soy sauce, and vinegar in a pan. Heat until fully mixed and fragrant.
  • Once the chicken is baked, generously pour the honey butter sauce over it.
  • Serve warm with your favorite sides.

Notes

  • For extra tenderness, marinate the chicken overnight in the refrigerator.
  • Adjust sweetness by using different types of honey (e.g., clover for mild, wildflower for robust).
  • Pair with sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
