Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
Add the egg, egg yolk, honey, vanilla extract, and butter flavoring. Mix until combined.
Gradually add the flour and cornmeal, stirring until the dough forms.
Scoop the dough into 2.5-ounce portions and place on a baking sheet.
Bake for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
Be sure not to overbake the cookies for the best texture.
These cookies can be paired with milk, coffee, or even chocolate or caramel sauces for extra flavor.
