Ingredients
  

  • 6 cups pecans (fresh and raw)
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon allspice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).
  • Melt butter and toss with pecans.
  • Combine sugar, cinnamon, allspice, and salt, and mix with the pecans.
  • Spread pecans evenly on a baking sheet.
  • Roast in the oven for 30 minutes, stirring every 10–15 minutes.
  • Cool completely on the sheet, then store in an airtight container.
