oz
cream cheese
4
oz
salted butter
(if using unsalted, add ¼ tsp salt)
2
tsp
bourbon vanilla extract
2
tbsp
heavy whipping cream
3
cups
powdered sugar
1 ¼
tsp
cinnamon
(adjust to your liking)
Instructions
Soften the cream cheese and butter to room temperature or microwave for 10-20 seconds.
Mix the cream cheese and butter until smooth.
Add the vanilla extract, heavy whipping cream, and powdered sugar.
Beat the mixture on a low setting and gradually increase the speed until smooth and creamy.
Adjust cinnamon to taste and mix until fully combined.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for a smooth texture.
Don’t overmix, as it can make the frosting runny.
The frosting can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two weeks or frozen for up to three months.
For a twist, you can add nuts like walnuts or pecans or experiment with other flavors like cocoa powder, nutmeg, or citrus zest.
